I turned in my keys for 2930 at the end of July. Mike from CPED met me there and after seeing my wall drawing in the front room, offered to cut a portion of it from the wall. (He also informed me that I could have cut into all or most interior walls if I fancied-next house maybe??) We quickly realized that the walls were made of plaster lathe-extremely difficult to dismantle in one piece with the equipment he had on hand. I really appreciate his effort and willingness to help me figure things out throughout the entire project. Thanks Mike!
The demolition will happen sometime this month. Mike will schedule and let me know. Let’s go and say goodbye to this house.

thank you and guess what!
Thanks to all who came out to the closing on Saturday! We had an amazing turnout in spite of another rainy day. Good news-I’ve extended the lease on the house! This means all sorts of things-a continuation of my personal projects, more time to schedule a demolition party (August), and more time to visit. Watch for pictures in the coming weeks of completed projects by the artists. If you didn’t get to see the project, email me and we can set up a time to visit. And again, thank you for being part of this.

I’m drawing on walls. Slowly steadily traversing the space.

Updates from Ash. I love how the surfaces are building up on the walls and in the space.
Japheth is making progress on his reproduction model of the house. Looks great!
